About

The people who know me would say that I hold a lot of random knowledge covering topics ranging from global history, wildlife, and technology. Also, I’m usually the only one they’ve known to train raptors (birds of prey). I’m curious as to how and why people think the way they do. Harnessing that understanding and using it to develop products that benefit the user are driving forces in designing the ideal experience of a product.

Having spent over five years in UX research and another five in pharmaceutical research, I have been able to use my quantitative data analysis and testing skills to be put to use in my UX research experience. My curiosity toward users allows me to ask meaningful and insightful questions in user interviews and testing.

Industrially, I have supported UX research and design for a healthcare startup in need of an improved user experience. I believe in the power of data in making sense out of chaos, conducting in-depth user interviews to understand context and intent, and keeping users in the loop through usability testing.

I grew up in the quiet town of Oak Park, California and hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Biology from the University of California, Davis. I currently reside in San Francisco, California and enjoy hiking/camping in the great outdoors, watching movies, and reading nonfiction.
